Well, actually these are items that I purchased for myself so I'm not sure if that really counts or not... but hey, I'm willin' to pretend if you are! So I know that I just posted a flashing of my stash and stated that I'm not really one to stash up in fear of not getting the right yarn or enough of it. But I read somewhere that sock yarn doesn't really count as stash. So I went a little be-zerk. First off I needed some longer extension needles connectors for my option needles and so while I was on the Knit Picks site I decided that I would like to attempt at dying - with kool-aid no doubt. I haven't attempted dying yarn yet, so this should be fun. I purchased 3 skiens of their Bare Natural to save for a rainy day activity. Also while I was there I went a-strollin' through the sock yarns and picked up these two fine fall beauties. (Have I mentioned that fall is my favorite season and I'm totally in love with fall colors?)
The sun has put a glare on them and you don't get the full effect of the oranges and earthy tones. These are Knit Picks Felici yarn in colors Clay and Pebble.
Then as I was reading up on Stacey's blog and seeing her fine Loopy items, I decided to wander into that shop as well. (I heard they have Steeler yarn! Go Pittsburgh!) And now look what I have mingling with my rosemary and sage:

These are Lorna's Laces in colorway Tuscany and ClaudiaHand Painted Yarn in colorway Steelers.
It's going to be a fine football season knitting up with these I tell ya. And to top it all off I added into the excitment two great yarns that I picked up at my LYS to use for some special Christmas gifts I'm planning. One is already started!
Yes, that's Tofutsies that you see (don't know the colorway) and some beautiful Malabrigo merino wool that I'm knitting up into a Touch of Whimsy Scarf for my aunt.
