Yarn: Socketta, in a light pink, light blue, and purple colorway. (Sorry, can't find the yarn band right now.
Pattern: Twilight from the 2-at a time Socks book
Size: 9 shoe
Modifications: I did them on 5 dpns, one at a time.
Verdict: I think I like the pattern and maybe I'll do it again someday. But really this yarn is just not me. It's too pastel. Although I think it worked out nicely with the pattern. The yarn was a bit abrasive at first with the cotton content, but I got used to that and then it went much better. I just hope that Aunt Suz likes them. That's what really matters.
And this is what grew from that balled yarn:It was AMAZING at how quickly these babies knit up!!! In less than 24 hours an entire sock was done!!! I probably could have finished it in less time if things like sleep, eating, and chatting with good friends didn't get in the way!I'm rockin' baby!!! I love the stitch pattern with this color way. I feel like a preschooler took some finger paint and went like this all over my feet. Oh wait, you can't see what I'm doing with my hands. Just move your hands in opposite circles going inward.
Hopefully the second one will knit up just as fast!

Both pair of socks turned out beautiful. I'm sure your aunt will thank you on every chilly morning that she puts on her socks!
Don't you just love the Spring Forward pattern? I'm on the foot of my first one and I can easily see it being one of my faves. :-)
The socks turned out great! And yay for Spring Forward! Love the colorway you are using! You'll be done in no time!
I didn't like knitting with Sockotta either, but Amanda loves her socks, so I think the roughness is only evident to the knitter.
Look at you crank out the socks!
I second what Channon said. It is my least favorite yarn to knit with, but it wears nicely and lasts forever.
That spring forward pattern is great! You are a knitting machine.
Oh, I just love your socks. I haven't couquered them yet, but still intend to!! And I'm enjoying your blog now that I "know" who you are!
I wear a 9.5 so I know your aunt will appreciate such a thoughtful gift they are pretty:)Hugs Darcy
Another sock knitter like me. I love the socks you knit!

Spring Forward... I'm going to have to remember to add that pattern to my queue. Those are a beauty!
If I could only get my knitting mojo back - I've started on a pair of monkeys in February and I'm STILL not done *sigh*
